EPS Achieves Gold Status at Deloitte Best Managed Companies

About the Award

EPS has received the Gold award at the Deloitte Best Managed Companies (BMC) Awards 2018. The company, which employs over 450 people between Ireland, the UK and Jordan, demonstrated superior business performance for the 4th year running, was recognised at an awards gala dinner in Dublin.

EPS retaining its status as one of Ireland’s Best Managed Companies for the third consecutive year in 2017 led to the shortlisting for the 2018 Gold award.

“As we approach our 50th year in business, it’s great that we have been acknowledged for the 4th consecutive year. It’s a reflection of the ongoing commitment and effort of our hard-working teams across the regions as we collectively grow the business”.

It’s been a busy year for EPS, as the company launched its €4.5m Centre of Excellence for Manufacturing and Design last May in addition to various improvements and expansion in our products distribution; construction; asset management and service & repair businesses. “As we enter our 50th year in business, we look forward to a continued focus on sustainable growth, through innovation and partnership”, says Patrick.

The Deloitte Best Managed Companies Awards programme is celebrating ten years of recognising management excellence. 22 new companies join a requalifying network of more than 100 companies, built over a decade of the programme. The Deloitte Best Managed Companies programme, in association with Bank of Ireland, promotes and recognises excellence in Irish/Northern Irish owned and managed companies. It is the only awards scheme on the island of Ireland that considers a business’ performance from every perspective.

“2018 marks the 10th year of the Deloitte Best Managed Companies Awards programme, which has grown from 25 companies in year 1 to 137 in year 10. The programme represents companies from different industries with many industry-specific challenges but also common characteristics such as adaptability, innovation and ambition. Their stories are the stories of Irish business this past decade, and they are stories of resilience, recovery and confidence.”
