We have an exciting opportunity for an energetic and enthusiastic person to join our growing team

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing Marketing & HR activities, driving our online presence, developing brand awareness, ensuring brand consistency across multiple channels. As well as providing administrative support in the areas of recruitment, on-boarding and employee relations. You will organise and ensure all mandatory training is up to date including the provision of induction to new employees

As Ferrier Pumps is part of the EPS Group, this role will be supported by the Group HR, Communications and Marketing Departments.

With three offices situated in Scotland; Edinburgh, Glasgow and Aberdeen we have the ability to service a customer base that stretches from the Shetland Isles all the way down to the North of England. Ferrier Pumps provide full back up repair and maintenance coverage for the products, equipment and services we supply and install. Ferrier Pumps have a wide client base which ranges from Agricultural, Oil & Gas, Marine, Biogas, Brewing & Distilling, Water & Power Leisure, and Food Processing.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive the company’s marketing efforts in support of our business growth, financial and operational goals
  • Communicate and be faithful to our brand identity, ensuring alignment across all internal and external communications, offices, facilities
  • Assistance with the creation of marketing materials, including sales brochures, technical datasheets and manuals, value proposition documents, presentations, website content, point of sale materials, advertising and conference/exhibition material
  • Manage social media channels and digital marketing campaigns
  • Plan and coordinate events and attendance at trade exhibitions as required
  • Source content for company newsletters and other publications
  • Support the business unit managers and key team members to establish and maintain relationships with key clients and influencers
  • Monitor industry trends and collate customer feedback data for use by management
  • Ensure the company’s marketing strategy is in alignment with the overall Group marketing plan
  • Recruitment – including advertising, candidate screening, interview organisation etc
  • Creation and maintenance of employee files
  • Produce staff handbooks and newsletters
  • Coordination of internal training
  • Support employees across the business with the timely and effective response to employee related queries
  • Work with managers to ensure that appropriate job descriptions are maintained for all new and existing positions

REQUIREMENTS

To succeed in this role, you will ideally have

  • 2+ years’ experience in a HR/Marketing role.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro
  • Strong competence working with Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Excellent project management skills with an ability to set and achieve goals, meet deadlines and multitask
  • Strong presentation skills and attention to detail
