It is envisaged that the programme will develop skills at all levels of the company which will improve efficiency and competitiveness to provide an improved product delivery and service to customers. The programme will also be a key catalyst for the company to support its growing operations in the domestic market and in export markets such as the UK, Europe and the Middle East while also providing a framework for further growth into new markets in the future.
The programme will also include the implementation of a new ERP solution to provide its mobile workforce with the information to facilitate efficiency and adaptability to meet the dynamic needs of the market place in which the company operates. The new ERP system will replace disparate inbuilt applications with a single integrated solution. The system will support business critical processes from manufacturing, asset, project, and supply chain management to HR, CRM, and financials.
The total investment by EPS is €1.2 million over 3 years. Specific lean systems training will include company wide yellow and white belt certificates for all employees in addition to green belt certificates for approximately 50 team members and some select black belt certificates for lean champions.
