Ferrier Pumps receives 1st Carbon Reduce Certification

A Huge Achievement

We are delighted to have been awarded Achilles Carbon Reduce certification, which represents a significant first step for Ferrier Pumps in our journey to Net Zero.

Managing Director PJ McFeeley says, “This certification is recognition of our commitment to measuring and reducing our carbon footprint. This certification involved a root and branch evaluation of the practices in our offices, warehouses, workshops as well as the activities of our mobile teams who are providing reactive and planned maintenance for our wide customer base”.

EPS Group has been recording their carbon reduction efforts since 2010 and as part of the Group, we look forward to publishing our own Ferrier Sustainability Report later this year, which will outline our future path as we continue pushing towards reducing our carbon consumption & implementing circular economy principles.

We are all becoming more acutely aware of the impact our activities have on our environment, and in particular, we are conscious of our responsibility to move towards Net Zero.

PJ says, “Our supply chain, which includes Scottish Water, is firmly focused on sustainable practices and carbon reduction, especially as they aim to achieve net zero emissions by 2040, so it is very important for us to play our part in helping them to achieve their goals”.

A huge thanks to our QHSE Advisor Steven McClure (pictured with the cert) and his team for coordinating and collating the information required for this achievement”.
